Following in My Father’s Footsteps

2003

An homage to Bill Bingham, lover of adventure in the natural world. This mini-installation places viewers in the position of a child, enticing them to take a seat on a camping stool below a small tree house cradling an LCD screen. The video loop shows Bill Bingham canoeing across a lake in the Boundary Waters of Northern Minnesota.
